Family is gathering for Christmas. It has been busy here and to boot I got hurt last week, pinned between a tractor and a truckload of hay. It hurt like heck, but no internal damage or broken bones. God watches over fools, children and foolish children. (I fit the last group). My bruising is almost gone and the pain is tolerable allowing me to wear real pants for most of the day but still sore.
We will pick up our seafood tomorrow, Thursday, for the gumbo and Snow Crab legs feast. We will throw in a few steaks for those who are not big fans of seafood, you know who you are! I will donate most of my crab since we get them at the casino for free every Friday.
Quiet here today. It is kind of a gloomy, damp day. Shorts and shirtsleeves for sure.

Ouch! I hate it when stuff like that happens. You go over and over it in your mind trying to figure out what you did wrong to let that happen. Thank goodness no permanent damage!

We are having lovely weather here, no fog, or humidity, though overcast. You aren't sending us coastal rain are you?
But any weather that is not damp, and over 60 deg. is good for me in the winter time.
Shame the summers have to be so humid.
