Busy Weekend

This is turning out to be a busy weekend. Friday night Shari and I went to our favorite spot in Crystal Beach, which is now back open and spent the evening enjoying each other's company and that of some of our friends.

Early Saturday morning I went to Sutherland Lumber and picked up a new pole to mount my weather station on. It is a three section mast 27' high and extends one foot above the peak of our roof. I put a "bird guard" around the rain sensor to keep out the "seeds" planted there by passing birds. The sensors are doing well and reporting weather every 3 seconds to just put in the zip code for High Island, TX 77623 to see our weather station. (you can enter any other location also). Don't miss the "WunderMap" section which shows all weather stations in an area on an interactive map.

Tonight we will most likely relax and watch NASCAR and tomorrow we may go see "Angels and Demons" in Beaumont.

What a great idea for the weather station! It's great to have up to the minute on storms. Good luck with it. Put up a picture when it's all in place
